I am 56 years old and have just recently rediscovered my love for fashion, skin care and cosmetics. At the age of 18 I went to school for cosmetology to learn aesthetics to become an aesthetician. I worked my first job at Merle Norman cosmetics, helping demonstrate cosmetics, acting as a lead sales person. At 21 I met The man that I would marry. From that point on my life became one about family and I ended up ultimately in the role of a stay at home mom. My children are now grown, and I found myself looking for what could bring me purpose and satisfaction in my life at this time. I had prior knowledge of the company Color Me Beautiful and so I decided to look them back up and trained to be a consultant. I now I’m the sole proprietor of beauty by the season. I chose that name because it is about bringing out your best by finding your season, summer, winter, spring, or autumn. With the assistance of coordinates to match hair, skin and eyes I am able to find what season you are and what your personal best colors are. My hope is to help women empower themselves in every way possible.
